Inclusive Restorative Practices

Inclusive Restorative Practices Project

The Inclusive Restorative Practices Project aims to make restorative programming that is culturally sensitive available and accessible across Alberta. This project is a collaboration between ARJA and the Human Rights Education and Multiculturalism Fund (HREMF). Grants in the amount of $3000 will be provided to organizations to start a new project or continue work on an existing project to actively promote reconciliation, understanding and cultural awareness using restorative principles. As part of this project, we have developed an Inclusive Restorative Practices Review Guide to help identify the tenants of culturally inclusive restorative practice. This Guide is geared towards the practitioner, the service provider or persons interested in the development of restorative practices.
