Each year ARJA plans and hosts the Annual Restorative Justice Conference for practitioners, interested individuals and those working or interested in restorative justice. The annual conference is a great way to learn, share and network.

The 2023 Alberta Restorative Justice Conference will be held November 23 and 24, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta.
This year’s theme is “Restorative Justice: Branching Out”, which highlights the growth of Restorative Justice and its ability to redress harm in criminal, youth, family, school, work, community matters and broader areas of social injustice.
Topics areas may include, but are not limited to:

  • The growth/evolution of Restorative Justice.

  • The application of Restorative Justice in criminal, youth, family, school, work, or community, etc. matters.

  • Restorative Justice approaches to issues in different cultural contexts.

  • How Restorative Justice impacts change.

  • Restorative Justice Lessons and Best Practices.

  • Restorative Justice “real life experiences” that inspire us
