The Alberta Restorative Justice Association is guided by a Board of Directors to ensure strong, transparent, and accountable governance. A board provides strategic leadership, oversees organizational effectiveness, and helps uphold the mission and values of the association.
By drawing on diverse expertise and perspectives from across the province, the Board of Directors will support informed decision-making, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and promote the long-term sustainability and credibility of restorative justice initiatives in Alberta.

Board Members Actively Support ARJA’s Vision, Mission, and Goals

The Board of Directors of the Alberta Restorative Justice Association (ARJA) is composed of committed individuals who are passionate about advancing the understanding and application of restorative justice across Alberta. They work to inspire community involvement, support existing programs, and foster the development of new restorative justice initiatives throughout the province.
They bring valuable knowledge, experience, and dedication to their roles, contributing collaboratively to discussions, decision-making, committees, grant initiatives, special projects, and the planning of the annual provincial conference.
Each board member serves a three-year term and contributes approximately 5 to 10 hours per month to board-related responsibilities.
