Community of Practice

That’s why we’ve established a Community of Practice(CoP) for restorative justice

practitioners, program leaders, educators, and advocates across Alberta.

At the Alberta Restorative Justice Association (ARJA), we believe in

the power of connection, collaboration, and shared learning.

Our Community of Practice is a dynamic space where individuals come together to:

Share insights, experiences, and promising practices.
Explore challenges and co-create solutions.
Strengthen relationships across sectors and regions.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and support.

Whether you're leading a restorative justice program, facilitating dialogue, working in the

criminal justice system, or exploring restorative approaches in schools or community settings,

this is your space to grow and contribute.

ARJA Community of Practice Mentorship Program

As part of our commitment to capacity building, ARJA also offers a Mentorship Program designed to support emerging practitioners and leaders.

Through one-on-one connections, mentees gain guidance, knowledge, and encouragement from experienced mentors who are passionate about restorative justice.

Both the Community of Practice and Mentorship Program are grounded in ARJA’s vision of building strong, restorative communities throughout Alberta.

Together, we are fostering a provincial network of skilled
and supported practitioners committed to justice that heals.
